NPB Draft 2024 | Notable Draft Candidate that have submitted NPB application (University)

Draft 2024 is only 6 days away, and we are going to have more hype with some information about the draft candidates from university.

This list was only based on the players list who have submitted their NPB application that make them eligible as draft candidates, and also through my own selection of notable prospects from that submitter list.

Update: The author been busy with the college

Howdy, it's Yoriko reporting.

Due to my incapability of managing my own time, I got overwhelmed in organizing my college schedule, and missed my chance to translating the updates regarding of candidates who have been submitting their NPB application. I'm really sorry for the lack of updates recently.

And somehow, I got a fever since yesterday. Just a quick one after I drank my medicine in the night, but it's still continues until today. I think the trigger to my fever due to my busy schedule in college now.

For your information, I drove by myself with a motorcycle to my campus which 30 minutes away from my house. One hour total of trip and I still need to face the traffic jam sometimes, combined with schedule that mostly runs from early morning until dawn. Well, since I took many class and it's already in 5th semester, I can't blame anyone because it's my own responsibility.

So do this blog's update. I run this by myself and to be honest I didn't really have to care much about updating frequently at all. Of course I can take some rest if I want.

But my passion always keep me up to work frequently, because I want people to recognize more about Japanese amateur baseball, especially University baseball. If I didn't update as soon as possible, people will get lost with the news and then prefer to let it go for a while or even forever, aren't they?

As the one who knows about Japanese amateur baseball more than common fans, I want to share my knowledge to more people. That's why I write on this blog. But then I didn't expect there are many people that reading on my writings more than I expect. I do appreciate that so much. Thank you for always reading my post in here.

All of that number of readers really means so much to me, so I can continue to write more. That's why, I will continue to write when I can get to my own pace again soon. Thank you for your support through all this time.

Best regards,

Yoriko.

News - SportsNavi (Yahoo!) updated their livescore service for Tohto League!

All leagues provided by SportsNavi (12 main leagues + 1 sub league)

As what they had reported in the news release per (8/22), Yahoo! JP sports service "SportsNavi" will be adding new service of live score report for Tohto University league (division 1 and 2).

Not only for the first division, SportsNavi will be covering for all games in second division too. First division including all games from six teams; Kokugakuin University, Asia University, Aoyama Gakuin University, Nihon University, and Tokyo University of Agriculture which just promoted into the first division for the first time since 31 years ago.

For the second division, it will be covering all games from six teams; Komazawa University, Senshu University, Toyo University, Kokushikan University, Takushoku University, and Rissho University.

But, a reminder that they will provide their service only for livescore information. There is no clear information that they will also providing a livestream service soon or later. But with this update, we have an opportunity to enlarge the hype within the Japanese University Baseball to the new fans through internet service and SNS, also to convince the service provider to make an improvement of their livestream service update soon.

Regardless, they are making such improvement in the university baseball this past year. We still had a hope here.

Except those leagues above, the rest of the livestream that has been broadcasted before in the University Baseball service will be continue on to delivering their all games in the incoming fall season, total of 11 leagues available to stream for free (Sendai Big 6, South Tohoku League, Kanko New Students League, Tokyo New University League, Tokyo Big 6, Shuto League (first division), Kanagawa League, Hokuriku League, Kansai Students League, Kansai Big 6, Kinki Students League)

Next information about Fall League that will be streaming on SportsNavi will be updated soon.
