| Samurai Japan University representatives of 2025 |
As the Samurai Japan University member candidate training camp has ended today, the official list of Samurai Japan University members has been released in the same day. With a total of 26 members, this national team will represent Japan in the upcoming USA-Japan Collegiate All-Star Game, which is a friendly game between USA collegiate representatives against Samurai Japan University representatives.
In accordance to the upcoming event, the representative team will be holding a soon-training starting by June 30-July 7 in the Batting Palace Soseki Stadium Hiratsuka which is located in Hiratsuka City General Park, Kanagawa.
For addition, former Yomiuri Giants' Takahashi Yoshinobu will be participating as a temporary coach for two days in the camp—from 1-2 July.
"I am very honored to have been asked to serve as a temporary coach again this year, following on from last year. I was amazed by the high level and enthusiasm of the players last year, so I am looking forward to this year as well. The players selected are the generation that will lead the baseball world in the future, so I hope to be able to share as much of my experience as possible with them."
